Lightweight aluminum trench boxes.

A shoring unit consists of aluminum sheets, trench struts and couplings which can be quickly and easily interconnected. The system can be used either as a trench edge support (up to 1.75 m trench depth) or as a full shoring system (up to 3 m trench depth).

The aluminum sheets are connected together rigidly by couplings to form large shoring units. The aluminum trench box is mainly used for trenches up to 1.75 m deep and secures the trench edge to prevent slides. The free working space between the trench struts is 2.8 m, ensuring there is enough room for digging and pipe laying.

Advantages:

  • 2 persons can carry the system
  • Suitable for stable and friable/cohesionless soils
  • No need for excavator
  • Avoids breaking of trench edges, destruction of road surface and slipping of paving slabs
  • High-strength aluminum, no corrosion, no waste
  • The aluminum sheet couplings allow adjustment during lowering of the pipes
